My boys love that their bunk bed has a slide on it (daddy rocks - he made the bed with his own two hands!) Apparently Mr. Monkey enjoys the slide too :-)

*Note* I didn't intend for this week's theme of people to mainly be people in MY family. It's just harder to do when it's winter and you don't get out much. I intend to repeat this theme when it's warmer out :-)

"Life should be a little nuts, otherwise it'd be a bunch of Thursdays strung together."

Today Cody got to go with Memaw and Caedmon (his cousin and very bestest friend) and a couple other friends to see Seussical the Musical which was being performed at the local University. That meant that I had Tanner all to myself that day (minus when I was in class).

Tanner and I walked all the way over to the grocery store, dropped off mail, cruised around the grocery store, got a couple treats, and walked home. It was so much fun hanging out one on one with him like that.

It also wore him out, he ended up napping for like 4 hours after we got back!! ;-)

Day 28

My eldest munchkin has been drawing more and more lately. I must say, I LOVE it. He's whipped out some of the cutest little stick people with giant heads.

He drew this smiley face on their chalk board today - cute, right?

So I asked him to tell me about it. And he told me that it was me! Aww, how sweet - and I was thrilled to see how BIG the smile was, especially considering what a grouch I was the day before... So then I asked him "Cody, what's that under the face?" (it's hard to see in the picture, but there's a bubble looking thing under the face)

Cody replied: "It's your chin."

Thanks buddy. I appreciate how accurate your rendition of me is. What a great kid you are. :-P

Day 24

Today proved to me that there is almost nothing more adorable than a 4 year old in hockey gear.

Especially when that 4 year old is my nephew.

PS this is what happens when I don't take my 365 shot till night time - I have to jack up my ISO and my picture ends up grainy with tons of noise. Oops! Oh well!

Day 22

The boys had 2 picnic meals today and then built a "tower" in the kitchen with blankets, and finally decided it would be more fun to roll around in the kitchen in the bedding. It was quite a fun-filled day.
